As an Ayurvedic practitioner, my journey has been a rich tapestry of holistic healing and community engagement. Having graduated from the SCUHS Ayurvedic Practitioner program and earned certification as a Chopra Health Teacher, my commitment to wellness has extended beyond individual clients to encompass broader community outreach. Collaborating with city and county agencies, I've actively participated in local health fairs, focusing on educating BIPOC communities about the transformative potential of Ayurveda. My involvement with the National Ayurvedic Medicine Association's DEI committee reflects my dedication to inclusivity within the field. Additionally, I've authored articles, led DEI workshops, and extended my expertise to cater to a diverse clientele, including high-profile individuals. Organizing and leading wellness retreats has allowed me to create immersive experiences that combine Ayurvedic principles with overall well-being. Through this multifaceted approach, I strive to make Ayurveda accessible and beneficial to people from all walks of life.

My roots are held in Julangel, The Gambia, West Africa and reach to the US in New York City. I am a mother of 3 children, two of whom have special needs. My lineage of healers originates from my family in Mauritania to Gambia, West Africa.

In college, I found my voice (literally) and traveled the country as a lead singer of the band, Belizbeha. Following a successful career in media, entertainment, and teaching, I focused on entrepreneurism to launch A Web of Wellness.

The journey of recovering from childhood trauma led me to formally study holistic medicine, namely Ayurveda, the Indian Medical system. Currently, I am inspired to codify Traditional African Medicine.
